Why a badge, and why free

Every week people abandon a genuine quote because they can't tell the firm from a copy. The check that settles it — company number, incorporation date, accounts, directors — takes us a minute and is public anyway. The badge puts that check one click from your quote, in your customer's hands, before they decide. We don't charge for it because a business that invites the check is exactly the kind of business the check exists to protect.

   Run the free check on your own website

   Same check your customers would run. You'll see exactly what they see, including anything that needs correcting.

   Correct anything that's wrong

   Wrong company matched, old address, a review count we missed — use the correction link at the bottom of the report and we fix it within 48 hours.

   Copy one line of HTML

   Paste it in your footer, your quote template or your email signature. The badge reads from the live report, so it updates itself when your accounts are filed or your record changes.

What the badge shows

Yes, the badge shows amber and red too. That's the point: it is a window onto the public record, not a seal we sell. A firm that displays an amber badge with an honest explanation next to it looks better, not worse, than one with no badge at all.

The rules

Every report states the source of every line. If a source is wrong, we correct the report; if a source is right, the line stays. That is the only way the badge can mean anything to the person about to pay you.

Something wrong in your report?

Use the correction link at the foot of the report, or write to us with your company number and what needs changing. We answer within 48 hours and re-run the check once the register has been updated.
